Handover of Faculty of Animal Husbandry Students for Internship Placement at the Denpasar Veterinary Center
Denpasar, 6 April 2026 — The Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, officially conducted the handover of students participating in the Kampus Berdampak Mandiri Internship Program for the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year to the Denpasar Veterinary Center.
The event was attended by representatives of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, namely Dr. Ir. Ni Luh Gde Sumardani, Ir. Ni Putu Yundari Melati, and I Nyoman Agus Aryawan.
A total of five students were formally handed over by the Faculty of Animal Husbandry and received by representatives of the Denpasar Veterinary Center, namely drh. I Ketut Narcana, Head of the Veterinary Services Division, and drh. Ni Made Sri Handayani.
This activity forms part of the implementation of the Kampus Berdampak Mandiri Program, which aims to enhance students’ competencies through direct exposure to professional working environments, particularly in the fields of animal health and veterinary services.
Through this internship program, students are expected to develop technical skills, broaden their professional perspectives, and gain firsthand experience in the practical application of their academic knowledge, especially in animal disease prevention and control, as well as the improvement of veterinary service quality.
The Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, remains committed to strengthening partnerships with government agencies, industry partners, and other institutions to support the development of highly competent, adaptive, and workforce-ready graduates capable of meeting the evolving challenges of the livestock and animal health sectors.
